This original wood engraving shows a couple of long tailed tits on a hawthorn hedge with Ely cathedral in the background. I often see small flocks on my walks and in the garden and they are one of my favourite birds. This image was engraved onto boxwood and printed using an 1865 Albion handpress in an edition of 100. It measures 70 x 65mm (2.75 x 2.5 inches).
